- The purchase of hardware or other equipment
- Participant travel costs
WHEN SHOULD YOU EXPECT A RESPONSE?
Applications will be reviewed monthly and will receive a decision within one month of applying. This urges applicants to apply prior to the realization of the program a minimum 2 months in advance. Any applicant that comes in with an idea that will happen in the next one and half months from the date of applying will automatically be denied.
WHAT DOES THE PAYMENT PROCESS LOOK LIKE?-General eligibility criteria
To be able to receive any funds you have to BE or WORK through a registered non-profit organization. To support your project JDC has to have a Grant Agreement with a registered organization. After your application is approved, we will start the granting process. You need to provide an official document that proves that we are making the agreement with a registered organization (e.g. certificate of court registration). This document should contain the names of the legal representatives. Along with that, we need an official document with the organization’s bank details issued by the bank. The grant will be transferred after the submission of the final report. The final report should contain all the receipts and a detailed financial and programmatic report.
PLEASE NOTE: if the final report is not submitted 2 months after the project end date, we won’t be able to transfer the funds.
HOW ARE THESE JUNCTION GRANTS FUNDED?
These grants are funded and made possible through a partnership of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation and Yesod.
